Working as a picnic host is ideal for those who:

Love to work outside and enjoy working with their hands.
Have experience handling food (home chefs welcome) and are enthusiastic about culinary art.
Comfortable with greeting guests and taking photos upon their arrival.
Value a positive attitude, resourcefulness, attention to detail, communication skills, and a commitment to continual learning.
Are creative self-starters who pour love into their craft.

Further details:

Set your availability with most picnic bookings on weekends.
Enjoy 60 to 90 minute paid “break-time” in between picnic set ups.
Part-time work to start (earn a flat rate per picnic).

What is it about setting up picnics that attracts you most?

Relevant Experience

We understand this is a niche business, so we would like to hear about relevant experience of any kind, from past work, a love of setting up campsites, setting up events, and/or educational background.

My comfort level working with food

Do you have prior food handling experience? How do you feel about food prep and crafting charcuterie boards and other menu spreads?

My current availability

Our most popular picnic days are Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays, and we operate from 9am until sunset. Are you able to work part time to start, with potential to take on more hours during Peak Season (March through September)? What type of hours are ideal for you?
